He was a young man when hostile forces seized his home town at the 1939 advent of World War II. In defense of his homeland he joined the Polish Resistance and served in the Cavalry Division of the Polish Home Army . He was never to see his family again but for a brief reunion with his younger brother 50 years later. Community outreach was extremely important to Walter and Dolores, providing annually over 7,000 ears of corn for the Shrine’s Polish Festival and volunteering each year until he took ill. Being a dependable, loyal, thoughtful and reliable man, Walter was often called upon to help his local friends and businesses in off seasons. Many times neighbors would return home to fresh farmed produce on their door step delivered by Walter.
After a broken hip she took up residence at New Seasons. She was happy to be a part of that community and will be remembered for her singing skills and always wanting to share a good joke. James is the devoted father of four sons, George , James M. Jr., John , Stephen, two daughters Patricia Pingitore and Nicole Schuster . A dear brother to Annamay Butterworth and a loving grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

If Jim had been missing for a while, the family always knew they would find him at Lowe’s. She will be remembered for her love of family and friends, her love of sailing, boats, a good party, and her desire to help those in need; particularly the malnourished and local food banks. Mom and Dad made their first home in Greenbelt, Md where she served as a second-grade teacher at Adelphi Elementary for several years. This is when her son Alex was born and she decided to leave teaching. Our mom, Terry Gieser was born to Pauline Comegys-Kaufman and Edward Kaufman in Westminster, Maryland on October 26, 1943. She thoroughly enjoyed her childhood on the family farm with her parents and siblings.
Denise is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Dick will sadly be missed by his family and friends but fondly remembered as a beloved husband devoted father, and trusted and committed friend. The family will receive relatives and friends at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 24, at the New Apostolic Church, 404 Pine Run Road, Doylestown, PA 18901, followed by a memorial service at 12 noon. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years Bernice Fees, sons Charles Fees, Jr. and David Fees and by his daughters Susan Palmer and Sharon Fees.

Growing up in a Navy family, Steve spent his childhood in Bonn Germany, Las Vegas NV, and Long Island NY, before ultimately attending elementary school in Naples Italy. He was a graduate of Holy Cross Catholic School and Valedictorian of Central High School Class of 1982, Champaign IL. He attended Penn State University on a Navy ROTC Scholarship and earned a BS and MS in mechanical engineering with honors. He commissioned as an officer in the Navy in January of 1988. Steve worked 27 years as an engineer for Linde, an industrial gas company in Murray Hill NJ. He designed and built large cryogenic freezers for the global food industry, in the process travelling the world for business and leisure.
Her passion, discipline and perseverance stayed with her as she blossomed into having a very accomplished artistic career, touring the world as prima ballerina, teacher and choreographer over the course of her long, beautiful life. Upon arriving in the United States, by 1948, Nina was accepted to the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo ballet company in New York City, directed by S. J. Denham, and was promoted to ballerina at the end of her first season.

Joseph ‘Joe’ Vinciguerra Sr. died on Sunday, March 20th after a very long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was born in Philadelphia in 1938, the son of Italian Immigrants. Joe and his twin brother Tony were the youngest of five children. Joe met his wife, Joyce, in 1956 and on February 1st, 1958 they were married.

Brother Geno was noted for his humorous expressions, such as “Tsk Tsk” and “Chuckle Chuckle.” He also used to say, “I said to myself, self”…” Geno will always be fondly remembered for his great example in his spiritual and apostolic life. His sister, Miss Rita Thomas, and sister-in-law, Mrs. Charles M. Thomas, survive him. He was very proud of his grandchildren David R. Stout Jr. , Lauren Morris , Lindsey Newman , John Riesenberger, and Amanda Campbell . He adored his great grandchildren, Logan and Connor Morris, Jack, Luke and Olivia Newman, and Renna and Knox Stout.
He was the beloved husband to Wanda Zaniewska Rocki for 42 loving years. Gloria is the beloved mother of two sons, John Calamari and spouse Lois of Doylestown, PA and Louis Calamari and spouse Gail of Stamford, CT. Gloria is the beloved sister of the late Vito, Joseph, Salvitore, Angelo, Caroline, Adeline, and Florence Amanna. Gloria is the beloved grandmother of five grandchildren, Christine, Thomas, Andrew, Michael and Victoria and the beloved great grandmother of five great grandchildren, Juliana, Leo, Nicholas, Christopher, and Jason. Many will remember Don from working at the Soabar Co in Philadelphia PA for 48 years. Don will always be remembered first as a loving husband to Barbara, his high school sweetheart of 47 years who passed in 2003.
Born on February 11, 1931, he is the son to the late Cecil S. Bean and Estella Bean of Norristown, PA. Cecil is the beloved brother of Joseph, Walter, and Herbert Bean. She was a longtime dedicated member of St. John the Baptist church in Ottsville, PA where she pilgrimed to sites of Rome Italy, Lord’s France and the Holy Land. Anne was a member of the Altar Rosary Society, an active pro-life supporter, a Minister to the homebound, a member of the Legion of Mary, Catholic Charismatic Prayer Group as well as the American Legion Auxiliary. Fatima House held a place deep in Anne’s heart as she professed her vows as a Lay Apostolate.
He attended St. Rose of Lima School in the Roseville section of Newark, graduated from Essex County Vocational and Technical High School in 1969 and attended Essex Community College. Prior to his recent move to Bucks County, Peter resided in Tenafly NJ for sixteen years. While Peter worked in security for many years, he was most recently employed as a driver for Superior Distributors, Elmwood Park NJ. As a road warrior, Peter really found his niche with Superior Distributors and he was a valued employee.
Jack took great pride in his four children and loved sharing in their achievements. Jim held a lifelong interest in learning, with a special interest in man and its relationship with the vastness of the Universe. Jim never missed an opportunity to be with Suzanne, taking rides and seeing the different types of architecture in their journey. Of course, like most of us he enjoyed his sweets and ice cream.
She graduated from Perth Amboy High School in 1950 as one of the “Fifties Girls”. She soon married Andrew “Whitey” Lachiewicz and made their home in Perth Amboy for 49 years. Rosemarie started working at the Raritan Arsenal where she honed her shorthand and typing skills. She left work for a short period when her children were born and returned to work as a secretary for the Kosene and Belikove insurance firm. Metals Refinery in Carteret, NJ. Rosemarie worked there for 25 years serving as the executive secretary for the President and Vice-president of the company. She was an active member of St. Stephen’s parish and choir even after moving to Toms River and kept in touch with her many friends from church and work.
